Why Abortion is Worse than Slavery

Why abortion is worse than slavery: - Mychal Massie

"Between 1882 and 1968, there were 3,446 blacks lynched in the United States. That is a span of 86 years. Today in the United States there are 1,876 black babies murdered in the womb every day – which means the total known number of blacks lynched over an 86-year period is surpassed approximately every 45 hours."

“Brain Dead” Brit Escapes Death Sentence of Organ Harvesting Doctors

“Brain Dead” Brit Escapes Death Sentence of Organ Harvesting Doctors - The New American

"Four medical specialists declared 17-year-old Steven Thorpe brain dead after he suffered devastating injuries in a 2008 car accident, and prepared to harvest his organs. But Thorpe's family had second thoughts, refusing to give the okay to end his life. And it's a good thing because Thorpe woke up from his 'irreversible' brain damage and five years later is making, by his own estimation, a 'full recovery.'"

Quotes by Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834 - 1892)

"'Brother,' said a dying  man, 'why have you not been more pressing with me about my soul?' 'Dear James,' replied the brother, 'I have spoken to you several times.' 'Yes,' was the answer, 'you are not to blame; but you were always so quiet over it; I wish you had gone on your knees to me, or had taken me by the neck and shaken me, for I have been careless, and have nearly slept myself into hell!'"(Source: Spurgeon's Sermon Notes)

Americans Fear Government More Than Terror

Americans fear government more than terror:

"According to a pair of recent polls, for the first time since the 9/11 terrorist hijackings, Americans are more fearful their government will abuse constitutional liberties than fail to keep its citizens safe. Even in the wake of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing – in which a pair of Islamic radicals are accused of planting explosives that took the lives of 3 and wounded over 280 – the polls suggest Americans are hesitant to give up any further freedoms in exchange for increased 'security.'

4 Major Questions That Remain About the Saudi National Tagged as 212(a)(3)(b), ‘Terrorist Activities’

4 Major Questions That Remain About the Saudi National Tagged as 212(a)(3)(b), ‘Terrorist Activities’ | TheBlaze.com:

"It’s been nearly a week since Glenn Beck first revealed additional information about Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi national briefly considered a person of interest in the Boston Marathon bombing. According to Blaze sources, Alharbi was tagged as a 212(a)(3)(B) — the U.S. immigration designation for 'terrorist activities.'
In the last week, TheBlaze has learned (among other things) that Alharbi’s event file was altered last Wednesday, two days after the bombings, and the 212(a)(3)(B) designation was removed; that Alharbi was, in fact, placed on a watch list after the attack; that he was at one time listed as 'armed and dangerous'; and that he was not properly vetted before he was allowed into the country under a 'special advisory option.'”

Tamerlan Tsarnaev Triple Murders Were All Jews Targeted for Religion On 10th Anniversary of 9/11 - That's Islam!

"As you’ve probably read, authorities believe that Boston Marathon Islamic terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev is behind the triple murders of three men, including one who was his friend. But what you probably didn’t know is that all three men–who were stabbed to death on the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 Islamic terrorist attacks–were Jews. It appears that this is why they Tsarnaev murdered them. He targeted them because he was a Muslim, and their “crime” was being Jewish. Their stabbed, bloody bodies were found on September 12, 2011. Remember, THIS. IS. ISLAM. . . ."

One of Every Five American Households on Food Stamps

One of Every Five American Households on Food Stamps:

"A record one out of every five American households, over 23 million in all, is now on food stamps. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) revealed that the number of households in January, 2013 was 23,087,886 households, 889,154 more than the year before. There are 115,310,000 households in the United States."

I don't begrudge people receiving food stamps. I've been on food stamps in the past. If a person wants to work - and can't (for whatever reason), they should be able to look to their neighbors, their church, or even their government for help.

Of course, if a person does not want to work, that is another story. The Bible says: "If a man will not work, neither should he eat." - 2 Thessalonians 3:10.

But the real tragedy is not the people who are starving for food, it is the people that are starving for truth. Our Lord Jesus says: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." - Matthew 4:4.

North Korea Begs for Food Aid from Mongolia as Starving State Faces 'Severe' Shortage

North Korea begs for food aid from Mongolia as starving state faces 'severe' shortage | World | News | Daily Express:

Excerpt:

"The North, suffering under dictator Kim Jong-un's cruel regime, cited a 'severe' shortage of food and requested aid during a recent meeting with Mongolia's President Ts. Elbegdorj. 'We ask Mongolia to seek possibilities of delivering food aid to North Korea,' an article by InfoMongolia said. Millions of people live near starvation at the secretive state, and children orphaned by misfortune or their parent's imprisonment, often die from malnutrition. Chilling video footage recently documented a 10-year-old-boy starving to death on the streets of North Korea."

Maybe it would be in North Korea's best interest to go to war with America. Because once America got rid of the ruling elite of that country - like we did with the Mighty Sadam Hussein's regime - we could come in with food, medicines and other economic support and at least help that country be able to feed itself.

As the apostle says to Timothy, so also he says to every-one, 'Give yourself to reading.' ... He who will not use the thoughts of other men's brains proves that he has no brains of his own... Give a Boy a Gun: North Korea Training 11-Year-Old Boys to Be Soldiers

North Korea Training 11 Year Old Soldiers - myfoxny.com

"North Korea's newest batch of future soldiers — scrawny 11-year-olds with freshly shaved heads — punch the air as they practice Taekwondo on the grounds of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School. Students and teachers here say they're studying harder these days to prepare for a fight."

I have people from South Korea visit this site on a fairly regular basis. To my knowledge, I have never had a visitor from North Korea. That's probably not surprising since North Korea doesn't appear to be too interested in offering Internet access to its people (see North Korea's Internet? What Internet? For Most, Online Access Doesn't Exist).

I wonder what an '11-year-old soldier' in North Korea thinks about America and Americans? And I wonder if his thinking would change if he had the same access to the Internet that much of the free world has. For example, if 11-year-old's in North Korea had access to books by Ann Coulter, they might read something like this:

"It's hard to conceive of America going to war with any country that would honor the Geneva Convention." (Sorry, I can't recall which book that came from!).

The Daily Spurgeon - April 20, 2013

Quotes by Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834 - 1892)

Some people say, 'Why, you are in such a small minority!' Yes, yes; but as a general rule minorities are right. Up until now, the majority has never been on the side of Christ, the majority has never been for God, the majority has never been with the truth."

Ingestible, Implantable, or Intimate Contact: How Will You Take Your Mark?

Ingestible, Implantable, or Intimate Contact: How Will You Take Your Micro-Body Sensor? - Forbes

Excerpt:

"Computer chips and silicon micromachines are ready for your body.  It’s time to decide how you’ll take them: implantable, ingestible, or intimate contact.  Every flavor now exists.  Some have FDA approval and some are seeking it.  Others are moving quickly out of the research lab stage.  With the round one Qualcomm Tricorder X-Prize entries due in one year,  we’re soon to see a heavy dose of sensors tied to the mobile wireless health revolution.  With these sensors comes a heavy dose of information about your health, data about what medication you are taking and when you took it.  The sensors are available to protect your health, but choosing how to use them and how to protect the privacy of your data will be a matter of personal responsibility."

The Bible Says:

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, to receive the mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred, three score and six." - Revelation 13:16-18

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a load voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever. And they have no rest, day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." - Revelation 14:9-11

Democrats Wake Up to Obama's 'Huge Train Wreck'

Excerpt:

"In a hearing on Wednesday, Democratic Senator Max Baucus, in speaking about enacting the provisions of the Affordable Care Act, told Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, 'I just see a huge train wreck coming down.' He’s not the only one. A recent Quinnipiac University poll (cited here) shows that two-thirds of Democrats now believe the president’s heath care reform will either hurt them personally or have no effect on their daily lives. Just above a quarter of those surveyed (27 percent) said the reforms would help them. Just 15 percent of independents believe the Affordable Care Act will help them."

Marco Rubio was the Mount Vesuvius of lies about his immigration bill. Here is how Rubio explained the powerful border-enforcing mechanism in his bill on 'Fox News Sunday,' which he denied was merely a meaningless goal:
'Basically, Homeland Security will have five years to meet that goal. If after five years, Homeland Security has not met that number, it will trigger the Border Commission, who will then take over this issue for them.'"

Is it Time for Philadelphia to Change its Name?

Philadelphia - the 'City of Brotherly Love' - has been in the news a lot recently. With the mass murderer trial of Kermit Gosnel finally making the news (after the liberal press desperately tried to cover it up!), the residents of Philadelphia may want to choose a different name for their city.

North Korea Demands US Withdrawal From South Korea

North Korea Demands US Withdrawal From Peninsula Before Resuming Talks - The Guardian

Excerpt:

"North Korea has issued a detailed statement on its terms for dialogue with the United States, after weeks of tensions.
The demands from the North's top military body include the withdrawal of all UN sanctions imposed due to Pyongyang's nuclear and missile tests, and a US pledge not to engage in "nuclear war practice" with the South. It said denuclearisation of the peninsula should begin with the withdrawal of US weapons."

I'm not a pacifist, and I do believe there are 'just wars' that Christians can support (I don't believe America has any business in Iraq and Afghanistan, and probably never should have set foot in Vietnam in the 1960's, early 1970s!). But if I were the President of the United States, here is how I would respond to North Korea's demands that we withdraw our troops from South Korea:

Dear Kim Jung-Un

Thank you for your recent suggestion that America withdraw their troops from South Korea as a condition for peace talks. Unfortunately, we have to reject your suggestion.  South Korea is our ally, and if they want us to remove our troops from their country, all they have to do is ask. Otherwise, we will consider any attack on South Korea as a personal attack on the United States, and we will respond accordingly.

Have a nice day!

Low Information Christians and the Canon of Scripture

Those who listen to Rush Limbaugh know that he loves to use the phrase "Low Information Voters" to describe people who disagree with him.  According to Urbandictionary.com, a Low Information Voter is a person who votes, even though he or she does not have any idea what is going on in politics.

The term 'Low Information Voter" has a negative connotation to it. It's really just a polite way of calling someone stupid.  There are also "Low Information Christians," but they are not stupid. Far from it. Heaven will be filled with people who on this earth fell into this category.

In Acts we read about at least 2 of the Apostles who were "Low Information Christians: Peter and John: "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled, and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus."  (Acts 4:13).

But Low Information Christians are especially vulnerable to the liberal God haters who would plant doubts in their mind - especially doubts concerning the Holy Bible. Books and Movies like the Davinci Code suggest that the Bible is merely the work of men (literally, males!), and that many other religious texts were excluded from the Bible.

I'd like to recommend this fascinating audio message by a very high information Christian, Dr. R. C. Sproul:

Excerpt:

"The cat is finally out of the bag. A blogger for the liberal Huffington Post has finally admitted that liberal mainstream media outlets made a conscious decision to ignore the Kermit Gosnell abortion-murder trial.
In a HuffPost Live segment today on the issue, host Marc Lamont Hill admitted what many pro-life advocates have been thinking: 'For what it’s worth, I do think that those of us on the left have made a decision not to cover this trial because we worry that it’ll compromise abortion rights. Whether you agree with abortion or not, I do think there’s a direct connection between the media’s failure to cover this and our own political commitments on the left. I think it’s a bad idea, I think it’s dangerous, but I think that’s the way it is.'"

The Daily Spurgeon - April 17, 2013

Quotes by Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834 - 1892)

I beg you once more to look at the great field of the world. Do you see how it is overgrown with thorns and nettles? If an angel could take a survey of the whole race, what tears he would shed, if angels could weep! What a tangled mass of weeds the whole earth is! Yonder the field is scarlet with the poppy of popery, and over the hedge it is yellow with the wild mustard of Mahometanism. Vast regions are smothered with the thistles of infidelity and idolatry. The world is full of cruelty, oppression, drunkenness, rebellion, uncleanness, misery. What the moon sees! What God's sun sees! What scenes of horror! How far is all this to be attributed to a neglectful church? Nearly nineteen hundred years are gone, and the sluggard's vineyard is but little improved! (Source: The Sluggard's Farm)

The Fact-Free Gun-Control Crusade

The Fact-Free Gun-Control Crusade | National Review Online:

"Amid all the heated, emotional advocacy of gun control, have you ever heard even one person present convincing hard evidence that tighter gun-control laws have in fact reduced murders? Think about all the states and communities within states, as well as foreign countries, that either have tight gun-control laws or loose or nonexistent ones. With so many variations and so many sources of evidence available, surely there would be some compelling evidence somewhere if tighter gun-control laws actually reduced the murder rate. And if tighter gun-control laws don’t actually reduce the murder rate, then why are we being stampeded toward such laws after every shooting that gets media attention? Have the media outlets that you follow ever even mentioned that some studies have produced evidence that murder rates tend to be higher in places with tight gun-control laws? The dirty little secret is that gun-control laws do not actually control guns."

New Report Calls Evidence of U.S. Torture "Indisputable":

"A two-year-long non-partisan study has concluded it is "indisputable" that the United States engaged in the practice of torture in the years following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The 577-page report by the Constitution Project also makes clear that the highest officials of the U.S. government were responsible. The policy is unprecedented in the United States, the report said, in "the kind of considered and detailed discussions that occurred after 9/11 directly involving a president and his top advisers on the wisdom, propriety and legality of inflicting pain and torment on some detainees in our custody.""
