Read the Whole Bible in 2014! Friday, January 31, 2014

I'm going to try to read through the whole Bible this year. Why don't you join me? There are many different websites that offer reading plans to read the Bible in a year. The one I chose is Read the KJV Bible in One Year. So for today, let's read chapters  19 & 20  in the book of Luke.

Special verse(s):

"And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's." - Luke 20:21-25

Note: If you have a reading disability that makes it difficult or impossible to read along with me this year, please consider going to Biblegateway.com and listening to the Bible. This is a great site with many resources, one of which is an audio version of the Bible!

Sex & Marriage: Christians Choosing Secular Over Scripture

Sex & Marriage: Christians Choosing Secular Over Scripture - raptureready.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Recent studies have shown that Christians are more willing to replace their scriptural beliefs with modern cultural trends, according to ChristianMingle and JDate. A poll titled 2014 State of Dating in America reveals that:

61%. of Christians said they would have sex before marriage
56% said that it's appropriate to move in with someone after dating for 6 months to 2 years

The results are clear than the majority of young Christians are OK with premarital sex and cohabitation."
----------------------------------------------------

The Bible says:

"Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of his sin, and that ye share not in her plague." - Revelation 18:4

"But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery. And he that marries her that is divorced committeth adultery." - Matthew 5:32

"No everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that Day, Lord, Lord, Have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? and in thy name done many wondrous works? And I will profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23

"Ye have heard that it was said by them of old, Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." -

- 56% said that it’s appropriate to move in with someone after dating for 6 months to 2 years.

The results are clear that majority of young Christians are open to pre-marital sex and cohabitation. Both of which are heavily discussed throughout the Bible and God gives very clear instructions on how he intends people to live their lives.

Ann Coulter: GOP Plan to Wreck Country, Lose Voters - humanevents.com

As House Republicans prepare to sell out the country on immigration this week, Phyllis Schlafly has produced a stunning report on how immigration is changing the country. The report is still embargoed, but someone slipped me a copy, and it’s too important to wait.  Leave aside the harm cheap labor being dumped on the country does to the millions of unemployed Americans. I'm going to try to read through the whole Bible this year. Why don't you join me? There are many different websites that offer reading plans to read the Bible in a year. The one I chose is Read the KJV Bible in One Year. So for today, let's read chapters  17 & 18  in the book of Luke.

Special verse(s):

"Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offenses will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones." - Luke 17:1,2

Col. North: Israel's Enemies Are Our Enemies

Col. North: Israel's Enemies Are Our Enemies - cbn.com

Excerpt from this article:

"What happens to Israel happens to us. Their enemies are our enemies. Their friends are our friends..." North told CBN News.
----------------------------------------

I'm not a cheerleader for Israel. At least not in the sense that Rachel Maddow is a cheerleader for Barack Obama! Although most of my posts about that country tend to be positive, not all of of them are (see my recent post: Israeli Gov't Announces Free Abortions for Women 20 to 33)

And I certainly reject the heretical teachings of John Hagee. Jews stand on equal footing with Muslims and Hindus and Atheists in one regard: They all stand guilty before God and are in need of a Savior.  That Savior is our Lord Jesus Christ. Of him the Bible says:

"There is None righteous, no not one." - Romans 3:10

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23

"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - Acts 4:12

But Israel has been a strong ally of America, and Oliver North is right when he says Israel's enemies are our enemies. There is a saying - and I think it has some truth to it - "First the Saturday people [the Jews], then the Sunday people [the Christians].

But even though it makes her "die a little" to write about him, Sadhbh Walshe at the Guardian thinks the petition has it wrong—what they should be asking for is a "fairer justice system where all immigrants are treated equally under the law." Because while Bieber will almost certainly walk, most legal immigrants in the same situation would already be in an immigrant detention cell with deportation looming."

Special verse(s):

"And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth." - Luke 12:15

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.  Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Luke 12:22-34

A 60 Second Seminar on Conspiracy Theory!

I believe in The Conspiracy Theory of History. This is pretty much the same theory advanced by both Dr. Ron Paul (Ron Paul Explains the Council on Foreign Relations and the New World Order) and Alex Jones (None Dare Call it Conspiracy: The Book that Woke Up Alex Jones). If I had your attention for just 60 seconds, I think I could convince you that The Conspiracy Theory of History is true (Or at least that it is worth your time looking into!).

So I'm going to try to do just that. Got your stopwatch ready? Do you need to clean your glasses before we start? OK. Let's begin:

I was introduced to the Conspiracy Theory of History after I read Gary Allen's book None Dare Call it Conspiracy in 1979. Liberal Democrat Jimmy Carter was the incumbent President and conservative Republican Ronald Reagan was running against him.

What I read in this book was that there is no real difference between the Republican Party and the Democrat party, but, at least at he national level, both were controlled by wealthy bankers and "conspirators."  On the surface, it seamed as though no two people could be more different than Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. But when I found out that Regan's campaign manager was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, which Gary Allen said was key to this conspiracy I took notice.

In 1970 W. Cleon Skousen wrote The Naked Capitalist and in 1971 Gary Allen wrote None Dare Call it Conspiracy. Both of these authors used Prof. Corroll Quigley's book, Tragedy & Hope - A History of the World in Our Time, to support their Conspiratorial Theory of History. Here is just one excerpt from this book:

 "The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies ... is a foolish idea. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.  Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, the same basic policies." Carroll Quigley, Tragedy & Hope - A History of the World in Our Time, published in 1966.

OK, time's up.

If I was able to convince you of this 'conspiracy theory' in 60 seconds, either you were already convinced of it or you are just gullible and you will believe anything. I hope the former is true.  At the very least, why don't you take some time and do your own research on this topic.

Katy Perry: Illuminati Priestess Conducts Witchcraft Ceremony in Front of Entire World

Katy Perry: Illuminati Priestess Conducts Witchcraft Ceremony in Front of Entire World - endoftheamericandream.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Did you see Katy Perry’s performance at the Grammys?  It was essentially an Illuminati-themed occult ritual.  Various media reports say that Perry 'dressed up as a witch', and her performance included a Knights Templar cross emblazoned across her chest, a beast with Moloch horns, dancers in dark robes with devil horns protruding from their heads, and pole dancing with a broom.  At the end of the 'ceremony', Perry was 'burned at the stake' as the song ended....So was Perry actually kidding when she said that she had 'sold my soul to the devil' during a television interview a few years ago?  The kind of stuff that Perry is doing now is not for amateurs.  She is either working with someone who is deep into the occult or she is deep into it herself."

Our World: International Holocaust Rememberance Day - jpost.com

Excerpt from this editorial:

"On the surface, it is very moving to see half of the members of Knesset at Auschwitz marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day. But in a larger sense, it is not at all clear why this is necessary. The Jewish people have Yom HaShoah V’Hagevura, our own national day of mourning for the genocide of our people in Europe. More importantly, we carry the legacy of the Holocaust inside of us....The six million murdered have become 10 million descendants who were never born. And we miss them."
--------------------------------------

We just finished commemorating Sanctity of Life Sunday, where we remembered the 56,000,000 babies that have been killed in the womb since the Black Robed Monsters passed Roe Vs. Wade in 1973. And it is only fitting that now we take time to remember the millions of Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust.

What happened to the Jews during World War 2 is almost too horrible for words. And so let me just point you to one link so you can refresh your memory of that tragic period of history:

Read the Whole Bible in 2014 - Monday, January 27, 2014

I'm going to try to read through the whole Bible this year. Why don't you join me? There are many different websites that offer reading plans to read the Bible in a year. The one I chose is Read the KJV Bible in One Year. So for today, let's read chapters 10 & 11 in the book of Luke.

Special verse(s):

"And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil." - Luke 11:1-4

Economists Caution: Prepare for 'Massive Wealth Destruction' - Moneynews.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Take immediate steps to protect your wealth . . . NOW! That’s exactly what many well-respected economists, billionaires, and noted authors are telling you to do — experts such as Marc Faber, Peter Schiff, Donald Trump, and Robert Wiedemer. According to them, we are on the verge of another recession, and this one will be far worse than what we experienced during the last financial crisis."
----------------------------------------------

If you don't buy into conspiracy theories - or at least the one I buy into (see: None Dare Call it Conspiracy) - that's fine.  Maybe the liberals (on both sides of the aisle) are right, and the United States can continue to run up trillion dollar deficits every years - forever! But whether our country is being deliberately destroyed - as I believe it is - one thing is certain: If you are alive right now, then 120 years from now none of this will matter. You will be dead and buried and the only thing that will matter is this: Is your name written in the book of life?

As the late Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones once said:

"Stop and ask yourself, 'What am I doing?' You will be dead long before this world will ever be put right. What therefore will happen to you?"

"The evidence that we the people are at risk of being placed under martial law and losing all our rights as guaranteed under the constitution is overwhelming. On October 17, 2006, President Bush signed into law the John Warner Defense Authorization Act. The law allows the President to declare a 'public emergency' at his own discretion, and place federal troops anywhere throughout the United States. Under this law, the President now also has the authority to federalize National Guard troops without the consent of governors, in order to restore 'public order.' The President can now deploy federal troops to U.S. cities, at will, which eliminates the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act."

Bill Clinton and the Rape that Won't Go Away!

Senator Paul Rand is in the news today, calling former President (and possibly future 'First Man') a sexual predator. Here is an excerpt from this article, Rand Paul: Bill Clinton a Sexual Predator, along with one of the comments on this article:

"Sunday on NBC's Meet the Press, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul calls former President Bill Clinton a sexual predator and says that the media have given him a pass on it."

And one of the comments:

"Absolutely. A review of Bill Clinton's history with women, not just Lewinsky, reveals that he is at best an aggressive womanizer and at worst a rapist. The well documented testimony of several women identifies behavior which can only be described as sexual assault."

"Every time I hear someone say that feminism is about validating every choice a woman makes I have to fight back vomit.... I hear women talk about how 'hard' it is to raise kids and manage a household all the time. I never hear men talk about this. It’s because women secretly like to talk about how hard managing a household is so they don’t have to explain their lack of real accomplishments. Men don’t care to 'manage a household.' They aren’t conditioned to think stupid things like that are 'important.'"
