Don't Blame Me Daddy!

False accusations of sexual abuse are rare, but they do happen. For the most part, I think if someone - especially a child - says they have been raped or molested - that person/child should be believed unless there is compelling reason not to.

Those accusations of sexual abuse and sexual assault made against Bill Clinton, Woody Allen, Bill Cosby, and the late Michael Jackson are all probably true.

But when a false accusation of sexual abuse is made - especially by children and teenagers - there is usually someone in the background who is 'helping' the child or teen make such false accusations. If you want to read a really good book on this topic, check out Dean Tong's great book Don't Blame Me Daddy - False Accusations of Child Sexual Abuse
