Don't Draft Women...Or Men

Jack Perry: Don't Draft Women...Or Men - lewrockwell.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Flying under the social issues radar is the idea of drafting women into the United States military during a war. This has been a hot-button topic for quite some time with arguments for and against it. People in favor say, hey they wanted equal rights, so they got them. Others say, hey, they’re sitting ducks for sexual abuse if they get captured. Well, they don’t have to be captured by the enemy for that to happen. Their own comrades rape them. The military itself covered that up for decades until it got to the point they couldn’t cover it up anymore. Here’s my stance on it: Abolish the draft as a whole. Then, THEN, we will have true equality when it is no longer possible for the federal government to force anyone’s kid to go die for foolish overseas power gambits between various tinhorn despots we call 'allies'." I was in my mid teens when the pop group Paper Lace came out with Billy Don't Be A Hero (Don't Be a Fool With Your Life). I remember my mother saying she thought it was a horrible song that encouraged people to dodge the draft.

Well, my mom went home to be with her Lord many years ago, but I would guess if she had read the following 3 books, she would not have been so gung-ho about America's involvement in Vietnam:

None Dare Call it Treason (1964), by John A. Stormer
None Dare Call it Conspiracy (1971), by Gary Allen
Jeb and the Bush Crime Family (2016) , by Roger Stone

In fact, she may have even attended Woodstock in 1968 to hear Country Joe sing his Vietnam Song!
