Daily Quote for Tuesday, December 1, 2020

Forget MAGA, here's the new 2020 Trump Presidential slogan:

"In reality, they're not after me, they're after you. I'm just in the way."

---------------------------------------------

The following quote is from the book,  Deep Truth: The Lives of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein:

"Whenever you run a clandestine operation, you run two things at the same time: you prepare the team for the hit, and you keep it so small there's nobody to spread it all around. And across the hall is a big staff working on what we call special plans. They're preparing the cover story. The cover story is what they want people to believe and to talk about, and to argue about." - From a 1992 speech by Col. Fletcher Prouty, former chief of special operations, Joint Chief of Staff

Daily Quote for Monday, November 30, 2020

"If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they will perish, let them perish with our arms around their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for." - Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-1892)

Your News From Israel- Nov. 29, 2020

Note: I'm not Jewish - by birth or religious persuasion. And I'm not a dispensationalist, so I don't share that particular viewpoint with regards to the current state of Israel. But I respect the people that are often featured on this news program because they believe the Old Testament.

Two prophecies that I see either being fulfilled now or in the near future are are these:

The great falling away or apostasy 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4a:

"Let no man deceive you by any means, but that day shall not come unless there come  exceot there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposeth and exalteth himself above God."- 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4a (Audio)

And the national conversion of the Jews, which Paul talks about in Romans 11:25,26a (Audio).

The Bible says:

"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles come in. And so all Israel shall be saved..." - Romans 11:25,26a (Audio)

Recommended sermons:

The 70 Weeks  Prophecy, by Rev. John Sawtelle [Text: Daniel 9:20-27 (Audio)]

There are many who believe we may be very close to the time when this "blindness" is lifted and Jews all over the world will accept our Lord Jesus as their long-awaited Messiah! And when that happens - and it will happen! - the following Jewish hymn may be slightly rewritten so it could be included in our Christian hymnbooks - Minyan Man

African Apologetics Event Asks if Christianity is the Faith for Africa

African Apologetics Event Asks if Christianity is the Faith for Africa - christianpost.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Some Africans feel uncomfortable with Christianity because of the colonial past. They turn to critical race theory or traditional tribal faiths because they feel like Christianity is a 'white man's religion,' Murithi said. He cited the words of Kenya's first prime minister, Jomo Kenyatta, who once said: 'When the missionaries arrived, the Africans had the land and the missionaries had the Bible. They taught how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible."

--------

As with the crimes and sins committed against American Indians and blacks, the Bible is still true, which says: "Be not deceived. God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man soweth, they shall also reap." Galatians 6:7. God has not forgotten the sins committed against Africans. But he hasn't forgotten about David Livingston either!
