Bible Reading for Saturday, April 30, 2016

There are many different websites that offer reading plans to read the Bible in a year. Here is a really good one:  Read the KJV Bible in One Year. For today, why don't you read along with me Chapters  33-35 in the book of Exodus:

Note: If you have a reading disability that makes it difficult or impossible to read along with me this year, please consider going to Biblegateway.com and listening to the Bible. This is a great site with many resources, one of which is an audio version of the Bible Daily.

Letters to Donald Trump: If You Strike Not the Root, the Branches Will Grow Again! Part 1

Our Lord Jesus says: "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" - Matthew 16:26

As a potential supporter of yours, I want to ask you a few questions. My question for today is this:

What part, if any, will the Council on Foreign Relations [CFR] play in your administration?

There are millions of potential supporters - both of you and of Bernie Sanders - who want a clear, not political double-speak, answer to this question.

I believe if you are elected president, you have only two choices to make:

1. Continue to fill your administration with CFR members [or those approved by the CFR], as has been done for decades, or
2. Run the risk of becoming the next John F. Kennedy.

You have stated publicly that the US elections are rigged, and I believe they are. But what is more important is that the government itself may be rigged!

I will have another question for you on Monday, but for now, why don't you read the following two blog posts:

Why Isn't the CFR on the 2016 Ballot?

Patrick Buchanan: At Last, America First - lewrockwell.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Whether the establishment likes it or not, and it evidently does not, there is a revolution going on in America. The old order in this capital city is on the way out, America is crossing a great divide, and there is no going back. Donald Trump’s triumphant march to the nomination in Cleveland, virtually assured by his five-state sweep Tuesday, confirms it, as does his foreign policy address on Wednesday.Two minutes into his speech before the Center for the National Interest, Trump declared that the “major and overriding theme” of his administration will be — “America first.” Right down the smokestack!"

Great Shepherd Who Leadest Thy People in Love, based on Psalm 80.

Here are the words to this [paraphrased] Psalm:

Great Shepherd, who leadest Thy people in love,
’Mid cherubim dwelling, shine Thou from above;
In might come and save us, Thy people restore,
And we shall be saved when Thy face shines once more.

O haste, Lord, to hear us and pity our woes,
Afflictions our portion, despised by our foes;
O Lord God Almighty, in mercy restore,
And we shall be saved when Thy face shines once more.

A place for Thy people, Thou, Lord, didst prepare,
Thy vine deeply rooted rewarded Thy care;
Its branches like cedars, majestic and free,
Spread over the mountains from river to sea.

Thy vineyard no longer Thy tender care knows,
Defenseless, the victim and spoil of her foes;
O turn, we beseech Thee, all glory is Thine,
Look down in Thy mercy and visit Thy vine.

The branch of Thy planting is burned and cut down,
Brought nigh to destruction because of Thy frown;
The man of Thy right hand with wisdom endue,
The son of man strengthen Thy pleasure to do.

When Thou shalt revive us Thy Name we shall praise,
And nevermore turning, depart from Thy ways;
O Lord God Almighty, in mercy restore,
And we shall be saved when Thy face shines once more.

Ann Coulter: A Slow Talker and a Homeless Guy Walk into a Bar - anncoulter.com

Excerpt from this article:

"...The more people see of [Trump], the more they like him. The usual pattern is: Trump says something perfectly sensible, the media lie about it, then voters find out the truth and like him more and the media less. Ironically, it's Kasich who has been complaining the loudest about the alleged billions of dollars of "free media" Trump has been getting. It turns out not getting "free media" was a godsend for Kasich and Cruz."

O Bless Our God With One Accord, based on Psalm 134

Here are the words to this [paraphrased] Psalm:

1 O bless our God with one accord,
ye faithful servants of the Lord,
who in his house do stand by night;
and praise him there with all your might.

2 Lift up your hands, in prayer draw nigh
unto his sanctuary high;
bless ye the Lord, kneel at his feet,
and worship him with reverence meet.

3 Jehovah bless thee from above,
from Zion in his boundless love,
our God, who heav'n and earth did frame;
blest be his great and holy name.

"A news conference has been announced for Wednesday for Alabama state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore and his lawyers to discuss seeking the dismissal of complaints filed against him because of the court’s rulings on marriage after the U.S. Supreme Court issued its 2015 edict destroying the precedent of millennia that the institution involves a man and a woman.
Dissenting justices in that ruling in Washington called it unconnected to the U.S. Constitution and multiple pockets of resistance to the mandate have erupted since then."

"Like Obama’s “change you can believe in” (an empty promise) that, in my opinion, was his margin of victory.  My suggestion is to begin and end every talk you make with a variant of the Puritanical pledge, 'Trust Me!' but to avoid establishment banality, change it to the more 'working class,' 'Count On Me!' which repeated over and over will burn away skepticism in those weary of political rhetoric:
“COUNT ON ME TO BRING JOBS TO AMERICA!
COUNT ON ME TO CLOSE OUR BORDERS TO ILLEGALS!
COUNT ON ME TO BE A TOUGH NEGOTIATOR!
COUNT ON ME TO BEAT ISIS!
COUNT ON ME TO PUT AMERICA FIRST—

The Four Laws That Hillary Clinton Broke But Will Probably Never Be Charged For - thedailysheeple.com

Excerpt from this article:

"How hard is this case to 'investigate' really? The evidence is already out there that Hillary committed at least three felonies cited in Title 18 of the U.S. Code of the Espionage Act, and a misdemeanor too!...But for all the media clamoring over these potential charges, it all seems like a lot of hot air. Hillary didn’t get to where she is without making an artform out of backbiting, dirt collecting, threats, the usual dirty politician stuff. More so. Word on the street is the whole reason she’s supposedly had a clean run with little actual opposition in this race besides Sanders is because she called up and threatened the majority of her potential adversaries. If she went down, can you imagine how many she would take with her on the way?" (Emphasis mine)

Thy Lovingkindness, lord is Good and Free, based on Psalm 69

Here are the words to this [paraphrased] Psalm:

Thy lovingkindness, Lord, is good and free,
In tender mercy turn Thou unto me;
Hide not Thy face from me in my distress,
In mercy hear my prayer, Thy servant bless.
Needy and sorrowful, to Thee I cry;
Let Thy salvation set my soul on high;
Then I will sing and praise Thy holy Name,
My thankful song Thy mercy shall proclaim.
With joy the meek shall see my soul restored;
Your heart shall live, ye saints that seek the Lord;
He helps the needy and regards their cries,
Those in distress the Lord will not despise.
Let Heav’n above His grace and glory tell,
Let earth and sea and all that in them dwell;
Salvation to His people God will give,
And they that love His Name with Him shall live.

Target's Trans Bathroom Policy Really Isn't About Bathrooms

Target's Trans Bathroom Policy Really Isn't About Bathrooms - cnsnews.com

Excerpt from this article:

"The truth is, the number of U.S. adults who identify as transgender is only about 0.3 percent. Activists will use intersex conditions as an argument, yet The Journal of Sex Research found that only 0.018 of people actually have an intersex condition from birth. There are, however, over 840,000 registered sex offenders in the U.S. and its territories, who would, under policies like Target’s, be allowed in women’s public restrooms. Research shows that around 33 percent of rape or sexual assault incidents to female victims were perpetrated on school property or in a public area such as a commercial venue."

Yes, China Has Won Big From U.S. Trade

Yes, China Has Won Big From U.S. Trade - money.cnn.com

Excerpt from this article:

"In the U.S., 43% of voters believe trade with other countries is a bad thing, according to the Pew Research Center. It's not that hard to understand why. China's middle class is booming while America's middle class is stagnating. A typical family in China has experienced the 'Asian miracle,' an astonishing 70% bump in their income from 1988 to 2008. But the middle class in the U.S. and across the developed world has stagnated: incomes rose a mere 4% over that 20-year same period, according to economist Branko Milanovic. He studies pay and wealth around the world and just published a new book, 'Global Inequality.'"

It has been said that elections have consequences. Maybe more people should have voted for Patrick Buchanan in 2000! Here is an except from Patrick Buchanan's great book, The Great Betrayal: How American Sovereignty and Social Are Being Sacrificed to the Gods of the Global Economy:

"No site better captures yesterday's America than Detroit, forge and furnace of America's democracy. Detroit is the burned out case of American cities. The Empire of the Sun has its revenge. Japanese imports helped kill the city that built the weapons that destroyed the empire. Now grandsons of the soldiers of the imperial army work at high paying manufacturing jobs once held by the fathers of ten-dollar-an-hour retail clerks in Macomb County.

"But why blame the Japanese? We did it to ourselves. We Americans created a post war trading regime, in which, over 25 years, Japan bought 400,000 American cars while selling us 40 million Japanese cars, a ratio of 100:1. One president after another sat still while a third of America's greatest industry was shipped off to Japan...

"Americans no longer make their own cameras, shoes, radios, TVs, toys. A fifth of our steal, a third of our autos, half our machine tools, and two-thirds of our textiles are made abroad...

"The decline and fall of Middle America was neither preordained nor inevitable. It was engineered in Washington D.C. Wages have fallen and the standard of living of American families has stagnated because of a basic law: the law of supply and demand. The price of labor has been dropping because the supply of labor has exploded...

"Having declared free trade and open borders to be American policy, why are we surprised that corporate executives padlocked their plants in the Rust Belt and moved over seas?  Why keep your plants here when you can manufacture at a fraction of the cost abroad, ship your goods back, and pocket the windfall profits that come from firing $20 an hour Americans and hiring fifty-cent-an-hour Asians? A pair of Nikes that sells for $150 in the United States costs $5 in wages to make in Indonesia. Any wonder that Nike president Philip Knight is the fifth richest man in America, with $5.2 billion, while his Indonesian workers make 31 cents an hour?" (Emphasis mine)
