Excerpt from this article:

"Zimmerman insists that the 'new consensus' among Republicans is that 'McCartyism was, in fact, a massive, unpardonable assault on freedom, fairness and the rule of law.' This is nuts. In reality, McCarthy's status among Republicans is higher now than it has been since his untimely death in 1957."

United Methodist Church Court Upholds Traditional Plan, Allows Liberals a Gracious Exit

United Methodist Church Court Upholds Traditional Plan, Allows Liberals a Gracious Exit - pjmedia.com

Excerpt from this article:

"White liberals accused black Africans of using bribery to uphold the traditional Christian teachings, but no evidence of any such activity came to light. No, the conservative position prevailed, fair and square...if the traditional Plan again prevails - as is likely - a mass exodus will begin."

Religion Without Regeneration: John Wesley's Testimony, by Rev. Ian Brown

The text for this sermon is

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." - Matthew 7:21-23 (Audio):

The following quote about John Wesley has been attributed to Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-1892):

"Most atrocious things have been spoken about the character and spiritual condition of John Wesley, the modern prince of Arminians. I can only say concerning him, that while I detest many of the doctrines which he preached, yet for the man himself, I have a reverence second to no Wesleyan; and if there were wanted two apostles to be added to the number of the twelve, I do not believe that there could be found two men more fit to be so added than George Whitfield and John Wesley. the character of John Wesley stands beyond all imputation for self-sacrifice, zeal, holiness, and communion with God; he lived far above the ordinary level of common Christians, and was one of whom the world was not worthy." And across the hall is a big staff working on what we call special plans. They're preparing the cover story. The cover story is what they want people to believe and to talk about, and to argue about." - From a 1992 speech by Col. Educating Jews and Christians to the New Reality

Educating Jews and Christians to the New Reality - israelnationalnews.com

    Excerpt from this article:

"The old Muslim adage, 'First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people,' is a calling card of the present, and sadly, the future."
    ---------------------------------

Indeed! But for Christians, our Lord Jesus has promised 'I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5). And for the Jews, the Bible says:

"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits, that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles have come in. And so all Israel shall be saved..." (Romans 11:25 & 26)

I'll leave it to those who are smarter than I am to figure out exactly what that verse means. But I do look for a day when there will be a massive turning to our Lord Jesus among Jewish people. It's possible that a Jew may read this post right now, and listen to the following sermon on the Seventy Weeks of Daniel, and have those blinders fall from their eyes!

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell."

The Essence of Evil - Sex With Children Has Become Big Business in America - zeroedge.com

    Excerpt from this article:

"Sex trafficking - especially when it comes to the buying and selling of young girls - has become big business in America, the fastest growing business in organized crime and the second most lucrative commodity traded after drugs and guns. As investigative journalist Amy Fine Collins notes, 'It's become more lucrative and much safer to sell malleable teens than drugs or guns. A pound of heroin or an AK-47 can be retailed once, but a young girl can be sold 10 to 15 times a day - and a 'righteous' pimp confiscates 100 per cent of her earnings.'"

The Word on the Street is John's Prefer Chickens!

"Merry Christmas Mister. Hey, Mister, do you wanna party? Are you looking for a good time on Christmas Eve? It's $10 bucks for the Globe Hotel and $20 bucks for me Mister...I've got to stop crying. Nobody's gonna buy me if I'm crying. It's bad for the John's head. It ruins his fantasy when a kid he wants to buy has tears in her eyes.
“I feel like such a jerk, working the Cameo on Christmas Eve. People look at me real quick, and then look away – except the Johns. Bruce wants me to come to church on Christmas. He says God won't mind at all. In fact, He'd like to see me there, Bruce says.
“I'd be afraid. With these clothes on! Midnight mass would never be the same!   Besides, I'd never be able to sing Silent Night without Crying. Imagine me, in church, singing Silent Night. God would laugh. Before He got mad, He would laugh.
“I wish I could call my mother. It would be nice to know if she's OK. It being Christmas and all. She'd want to know what I was doing and where I was, but she already knows. And it would spoil her Christmas to know I was alive. I wonder if she'd rather think that I was dead. Maybe I wouldn't hurt her so much then.
“She could go back to thinking how it used to be on Christmas. When I was little. Before I left. Before I ruined things. Before dad...I've got to stop crying. Blue fly will be really mad if he sees me crying. Bruce says I should come to Covenant House for Christmas. The place looks great, he says. Christmas trees and presents for the kids and a big turkey dinner.
“It's hard when it's somebody else's Christmas tree. You walk around all day thinking of the time when you had one all your own. When you had a family and you got presents, and you were with people who loved you and wanted to have you around.
“It's hard to get presents from somebody you hardly know. Who you never saw before yesterday. Who are just trying to make you feel good and happy. Sometimes it just makes it worse.
“It's Christmas, and everybody wants me to be happy. Except Blue Fly! He wants me to work the Cameo porn theatre and pick up 10 Johns. Maybe they'll feel sorry for me and give me some big tips – before they go home to their own wives and kids and decorate their own Christmas trees!
“I wonder what kind of presents they're gonna give the kids at Covenant House this year. I wonder if they'd let me in again. Bruce said he would. My pimp, Blue Fly, sure won't like it. He really hassled me the last time I went to Covenant House. He beat me real bad. I don't want to go through that again!
“I sure don't want to keep doing this, either. Maybe Bruce is right and God won't get mad at me at Christmas!”

    What is My Gospel Project?

Short answer: My Gospel Project is my personal response to my Lord Jesus command to "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." [Mark 16:15 (Audio)]

Longer answer: I started My Gospel Project in 2012, although really I started it a year earlier on a different platform. Since that time I have had people from over a quarter of a million people from over 90 countries around the world visit my site.

My Gospel Project is not a substitute for joining, attending and being active in a local Bible-believing church. I post a lot of sermons every day, but I never post a sermon - ever - from a minister that does not share my conviction of the importance of being a part of a local church.

I have a lot of fun with My Gospel Project. It's the highlight of my day. Isaiah 55:11 says:

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

So while My Gospel Project is not a substitute for church, it is very much like handing out gospel tracts in cyberspace - sort of like spiritual arrows - and then trusting God's Holy Spirit to direct those arrows where they need to go!

I try to keep My Gospel Project simple so that anyone can do what I do. If you're a housewife with kids or a farmer with lots of cows, you could start your own Gospel Project. And I would not mind a bit if you wanted to title it My Gospel Project and use the same format I use. But chances are you may want to title it Bill's Gospel Project or Tami's Gospel Project. And rather than focus on news current events, like I do, you may want to focus on arts & crafts, or music, or ???

I have 3 affiliates that I promote with My Gospel Project: Amazon.com, Christianbooks.com, and Covenanteyes.com. You may wish to forgo having any affiliates, or you may wish to have 10!

It's a lot of fun. You learn a lot of neat stuff (and some not-so-neat stuff!). But one of the biggest rewards is the thought that maybe when I get to heaven I'll meet someone there who was blessed by My Gospel Project! That truly makes it all worthwhile.
