New Jersey ELCA 'Church' Holds 'Renaming' Ceremony for Female Leader Who Wants to Be Married

New Jersey ELCA 'Church' Holds 'Renaming' Ceremony for Female Leader Who Wants to Be Called Peter - christiannews.net

Excerpt from this article:

"An assembly that is a part of the apostate Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) held a 'renaming' ceremony on Sunday for their female pastor, who wishes to present herself as a man and now go by the name Peter - after one of Jesus' disciples. St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoboken, New Jersey, whose motto is "Where tradition and inclusvity meet," held the ceremony during the Sunday morning services on a day that is known to Lutherans as Transfiguration Sunday."

ELCA? Hmm, where have I heard those initials before? Oh, yes, pastor Kevin Swanson's sermon on Isaiah 58:1-8 (Audio):

Why Persecution is Coming to the Church in America

This is a great sermon and I encourage you to listen to the whole thing. But if you want to jump right to Pastor Swanson's comments on the ELCA, just fast forward to 14 minutes into this sermon.
