In a recent article, Donald Trump: Man of His Word, the writer made the following comment about President Trump: "Trump often doesn't mean what he says, but when he says what he means - watch out."
That's good advice, also when it comes with members of the MS-13 gangs. President Trump is showing himself to be a tough leader, and he's willing to stare down his toughest opponents. But he's also a shrewd politician/businessman and he's looking at all his options. But any deal with MS-13 has to involve a total renounciation of violence!
In 1958 God called David Wilkerson to go to New York City to bring the gospel to the gangs there. David Wilkerson's book The Cross and the Switchblade came out in 1962, a year after the musical West Side Story first came out. I like the movie West Side Story, especially the part where the gang sings about Officer Krupke, But David Wilkerson's book (and later movie) The Cross and the Switchblade is life changing - and it could change the lives of MS-13 gang members! It's worth reading (and watching) over and over again!
