Compel Them to Come In, by Pastor Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892)

This sermon was preached in 1858, but it is just as relevant for today as if it were preached this morning! The text for Pastor Spurgeon's sermon is Luke 14:23 (Audio):

"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

Spurgeon once said, 'Wherever the gospel is preached, the most wicked of men and women are made to sit at the Savior's feet, clothed and in their right minds."

The text for this last sermon is Jeremiah 9:9 (Audio): "Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation is this?"
