The Bible says:
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1
The Bible does not say, "In the year 4004 God created the heavens and the earth."
I believe God created the universe and all that is in it sometime within the past 10,000 years. But the important thing is not believing in a young earth. The important thing is believing the Bible!
