Online Sermons Causing Low Church Attendance?

Online Sermons Causing Low Church Attendance? - christianpost.com

Excerpt from this article:

"...another mindset among many Christians have about going to church: that it is primarily about the downloading of information rather than a spiritual experience. Listening to worship songs in the car is fundamentally different from congregational singing...'Over the last 100 years as we've used radio and television and the Internet, and what we have inadvertently communicated to people is that the medium does not matter, and all that matters is message.'"

The Bible says:

"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins..." - (Taken from https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org)

No one should ever think it's good enough to listen to sermons on the Internet and not affiliate themselves with a local church. I would never post a sermon on this site by a minister who believed that church affiliation was unimportant.

My Gospel Project has had visitors from over 90 countries around the world. And in some of these countries Christians are being tortured and murdered for their faith. And even in America it is getting harder and harder to find a Pastor - let alone a whole church - that still believes the Bible

Someone once said, 'It can be exalting to belong to a church that is 500 years behind the times, and sublimely indifferent to fashion; it is mortifying to belong to a church that is that is 5 minutes behind the time, and huffying and puffing to catch up." (This is a quote from Joseph Sorban, quoted in Charles Colson's great book, Kingdoms in Conflict).

With that in mind, here are some great sermons for you to listen to until the next time your church meets:
