Of course Christians should not kill Muslims! Christians should not kill anyone. But that doesn't mean we should be calling those of the Muslim religion 'our brothers,' as the new Pope recently did (see Pope Refers to 'Muslim Brothers' on Good Friday).
Pastor Charles Spurgeon (1834 - 1892), who did not hesitate to call the Pope 'Antichrist,' would never have referred to Muslims as 'our brothers.' Here is how Pastor Spurgeon referred to Muhammad in one of his sermons (in reference to Matthew 11;28-30):
"Take for a prominent example the opposite of meekness, the false prophet Mohomet. The strength of his cause is that he is not meek. He presents himself before those he claims as disciples and says, 'Take my yolk upon you and learn of me, for I am neither meek nor lowly in heart. I will have no patience with you. There is my creed and there is my scimitar: death or conversion, whatever you please."
