"Pop superstar Katy Perry opened up about her religious upbringing during the Human Rights Campaign’s annual gala dinner in Los Angles Saturday night, explaining that she felt 'curious' about her sexuality while attending Christian youth groups as a child."
------------------------------
Katy Perry may have grown up in a Christian home, but she was never a Christian. She was like John Wesley (1709-1788), the founder of the Methodist Church. She had Religion Without Regeneration. Or like Evangelist E.A. Johnston, she was an Unsaved Religionist.Unfortunately for Katy Perry, she learned early on that she could take God's gifts and make money with them - lots and lots of money! And so rather than sing Crown Him With Many Crowns for little or no money, she chose to sing I Kissed a Girl and become rich.
Would that she would heed the words of our Lord Jesus who said, "What is a man (or woman) profited if he (or she) shall gain the whole world and lose his (or her) soul..." - Matthew 16:26
But it's not too late for Katy Perry. The Lord says in Isaiah 30:22:
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it...." - (Taken from https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org)

The Parallel Development of God and Evil in History, by Rev. Cornelis (Neil) Pronk
The text for this sermon is taken from the last book in the Holy Bible:
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." - Revelation 22:11,12 (Taken from https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org)
