Westminster Shorter Catechism (WSC) Q & A #107 (1646,1647)
Question What doth the conclusion of the Lord’s Prayer teach us?
Answer: The conclusion of the
Lord’s Prayer (which is, For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the
glory, for ever, Amen) teacheth us to take our encouragement in prayer from God
only, and in our prayers to praise him, ascribing kingdom, power, and glory to
him. And, in testimony of our desire, and assurance to be heard, we say, Amen.”

The following quotes are from Ann Coulter's book, Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism
Here is what Ann Coulter has to say about the Vietnam War:
"Vietnam is the Left's favorite war because America lost."
"Historical accounts of the Vietnam War are incomprehensible because liberals refuse to admit the failure of their national security strategy. The only important lesson from the Vietnam War is this: Democrats lose wars."
"In the great Democratic tradition of taking the nation to war without a plan to win, only the Democrats could have produced Vietnam."
"President Lyndon Johnson, who inherited the war when Kenedy was assassinated, viewed the Vietnam War as a method of proving the Democrats could be trusted with foreign policy, which they cannot."
"Nixon had been elected in part based on his promise to end the war honorably. He would have done so, too, but for Democrats in Congress,"
"A Republican President either wouldn't have started that war, or would have won it pretty fast."

And Adrian Havill reveals that Bob Woodwarde may have been a CIA agent working to take down President Richard Nixon! Here is a quote from Deep Truth: The Lives of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein):
"Whenever you run a clandestine operation, you run two things at the same time: you prepare the team for the hit, and you keep it so small there's nobody to spread it all around. And across the hall is a big staff working on what we call special plans. They're preparing the cover story. The cover story is what they want people to believe and to talk about, and to argue about." - From a 1992 speech by Col. Fletcher Prouty, former chief of special operations, Joint Chief of Staff (as quoted in Deep Truth: The Lives of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein)
Note: Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein were the journalists who helped bring about the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Chuck Colson served as Special Counsel to President Nixon from 1969 to 1973 and served 7 months in a federal prison for his part in the Watergate scandal.

#104 Question: What do we pray for in the fourth petition?
Answer: In the fourth petition, which is, Give us this day our
daily bread, we pray that of God's free gift we may receive a competent portion
of the good things of this life, and enjoy his blessing with them.
Answer: In the fifth petition, which is, And forgive
us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, we pray that God, for Christ's sake,
would freely pardon all our sins; which we are the rather encouraged to ask,
because by his grace we are enabled from the heart to forgive others.
Answer: In the Sixth Petition (Which is, And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil), we pray, that God would either keep us
from being tempted to sin, or support and deliver us when we are tempted.

Winning the World, One Soul at a Time
Winning the World, One Soul at a Time, by Rev. Ralph Hall
The text for this sermon is Acts 8:26-39 (Audio)
Here is a short excerpt from this sermon:
"One old minister who heard [William Carey] talk about these subjects (bringing the gospel to the heathen in foreign lands) accused him of being a miserable enthusiast. And when he was at a meeting of ministers one day and spoke about the need to go to foreign countries to share the gospel with those who have never heard of the Lord Jesus Christ, he was told, 'Young man, sit down. When God pleases to convert the heathen, he will do it without your aid or mine.' So there wasn't much encouragement for him. But William Carey went to India and he labored there for the Lord for 40 years and he supervised and edited translations of the Bible into at least 36 languages and dialects. He published grammars and dictionaries. He labored to abolish widow burning and infanticide. He studied botany in order to promote agricultural improvement. In a sermon that he preached just before leaving England to travel to India he uttered those now famous words, 'Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.'"

"You know...if I had to borrow 40% of the money I need to pay my bills every month, I'd be fairly alarmed. When you come up a few bucks short at the end of the month for necessary bills, you can cut back: get rid of the cell phone, stop eating out, whatever. But when your monthly nut is routinely running to almost twice what you can pay, you're kind of out of options. It's probably time to re-examine your resistance to sleeping outdoors and pooping outdoors, and...well, doing everything else outdoors, because outdoors is where you're going to be living before long." Constitutional scholar Mark Levin says:
"If you knew that you could live in luxury for the rest of your life but that by doing so it would absolutely destroy the future of your children, your grandchildren, and your great-grandchildren, would you do it? Well, that is exactly what we are doing as a nation. Over the past several decades we have stolen $15 trillion dollars from future generations so that we could enjoy a dramatically inflated level of prosperity. Our 15 trillion dollar party has been a lot of fun, but what we have done to our children and our grandchildren has been beyond criminal. We ran up the greatest mountain of debt in the history of the planet and we are sticking them with the bill. Sadly, both political parties have been responsible for the big-spending that has been going on (Source)
Westminster Shorter Catechism (WSC) Q & A #98-100 (1646,1647)
# 98 Question: What is prayer?
Answer: Prayer is an offering up of our desires unto God,
for things agreeable to his will, in the name of Christ, with confession of our
sins, and thankful acknowledgment of his mercies.
#99 Question: What rule hath God given for our direction in prayer?
Answer: The whole word of God is of use to direct us
in prayer; but the special rule of direction is that form of prayer which
Christ taught his disciples, commonly called the Lord's prayer.
#100 Question: What doth the preface of the Lord's prayer teach us?
Answer: The preface of the Lord's prayer, which is, Our
Father which art in heaven, teacheth us to draw near to God with all holy
reverence and confidence, as children to a father able and ready to help us;
and that we should pray with and for others.
