Report: Kellogg Foundation Delivers a Dose of Leftism With Your Cereal

Report: Kellogg Foundation Delivers a Dose of Leftism With Your Cereal - breitbart.com

Excerpt from this article:

"A new report reveals the shocking amount of money donated by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to left-wing, pro-socialist organizations in coordination with the Clintons and anti-American billionaire George Soros."
 ------------------------------------------

Did I hear someone say, "Get your politics out of my cereal?" But I'm more concerned about what's in the cereal itself, rather than what's in the mind of the company stockholders. Check out the following article from infowars.com:

Kellogg's Cereal: Double Dose of GMO Pesticide and Antibiotics

Excerpt from this article:

"There is a good reason that Kellogg’s spent over $1,012,552 on media propaganda in California & Washington to defeat voter ballot initiatives that would have required the labeling of GMO foods, and now are contributing again to the defeat of labeling initiatives in Oregon (contributing $250,000).
A consumer recently sent a box of Froot Loops to a lab for genetic testing and found that the corn and soy used in the cereal are 100% RoundUp Ready GMO. So is the sugar. Never mind the other toxic ingredients in the cereal. This means that in one box of Kellogg’s cereal (and likely all their cereals contain similar GMO products), you are dining on a double dose of glyphosate and Bt toxins – glyphosate being patented as an ‘antibiotic’ by Monsanto in 2011."

Cereal Nonfiction: The Story of the Kellogg Brothers - Freebeacon.com

Excerpt from this article:

"...had John been left solely in charge of the corn flake company, he would have run it into the ground, becoming a (pardon the pun) cereal killer. Fortunately Will took charge and turned Kellogg’s into a powerhouse."

Kellogg Ranks Among the World's Most Ethical Companies

Kellogg Ranks Among the World's Most Ethical Companies - investor.kellogg.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Integrity, accountability, passion, humility, simplicity and a focus on success. These values are part of our DNA at Kellogg. And the example noted above is just one of thousands demonstrating how our employees live these values each and every day.
It's this commitment to our values and business practices that have once again earned our company a spot on the Ethisphere Institute's list of World's Most Ethical Companies. Kellogg ranked No. 4 in the Food, Beverage and Agriculture category."
----------------------------------------------------------

A video recently turned up showing a Kellogg employee urinating on a conveyor belt (See: This Video of a Man Peeing on a Kellogg's Factory Conveyor Belt Will Make You Think Twice at the Grocery Store)

I have been eating Kellogg cereals since I was a kid - and this video isn't going to get me to stop now. I've worked close to 20 years in raising and manufacturing food products, and I've never seen anything as disgusting as this video. I'm sure it happens but I've never seen it. I hope the man who did this does prison time.

However, this might just be a sign of things to come. According to an article on businessinsider.com:

"In the last three decades, CEO pay grew at a faster rate than any other top executive. In fact, CEOs were paid 273 times more than their average employee in 2012..." (source)

And according to another article:

Study: Obama's Trade Deal An Economy Killer - Nearly 450,000 U.S. Jobs Lost if TPP Signed - wnd.com

Excerpt from this article:

"...the 6,000-page TPP, a trade deal in name only, is chock-full of giveaways for corporations and dangers for everyone else.”
-----------------------------------

I'm not excusing what this man did. He needs to be punished to the full extent of the law. But he should not be the only one going to prison. Here is an except from Patrick Buchanan's great book, The Great Betrayal: How American Sovereignty and Social Are Being Sacrificed to the Gods of the Global Economy:

"No site better captures yesterday's America than Detroit, forge and furnace of America's democracy. Detroit is the burned out case of American cities. The Empire of the Sun has its revenge. Japanese imports helped kill the city that built the weapons that destroyed the empire. Now grandsons of the soldiers of the imperial army work at high paying manufacturing jobs once held by the fathers of ten-dollar-an-hour retail clerks in Macomb County.

"But why blame the Japanese? We did it to ourselves. We Americans created a post war trading regime, in which, over 25 years, Japan bought 400,000 American cars while selling us 40 million Japanese cars, a ratio of 100:1. One president after another sat still while a third of America's greatest industry was shipped off to Japan...

"Americans no longer make their own cameras, shoes, radios, TVs, toys. A fifth of our steal, a third of our autos, half our machine tools, and two-thirds of our textiles are made abroad...

"The decline and fall of Middle America was neither preordained nor inevitable. It was engineered in Washington D.C. Wages have fallen and the standard of living of American families has stagnated because of a basic law: the law of supply and demand. The price of labor has been dropping because the supply of labor has exploded...

"Having declared free trade and open borders to be American policy, why are we surprised that corporate executives padlocked their plants in the Rust Belt and moved over seas?  Why keep your plants here when you can manufacture at a fraction of the cost abroad, ship your goods back, and pocket the windfall profits that come from firing $20 an hour Americans and hiring fifty-cent-an-hour Asians? A pair of Nikes that sells for $150 in the United States costs $5 in wages to make in Indonesia. Any wonder that Nike president Philip Knight is the fifth richest man in America, with $5.2 billion, while his Indonesian workers make 31 cents an hour?" (Emphasis mine)
