"Joining other conservatives who oppose President Barack Obama’s nomination of Samantha Power as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Retired Lt. Gen. William G. 'Jerry' Boykin said Power’s 'track record' shows that she would like to 'cede our sovereignty' to that globalist institution. 'Samantha Power’s attitude that we need to cede our sovereignty to the United Nations is very misguided and very dangerous as far as I’m concerned,' Boykin said at the National Press Club on Wednesday."
