57% Believe in the Devil

57% believe in the devil, 72% for blacks, 61% for women | WashingtonExaminer.com:

"A majority of Americans believe in the devil, especially blacks and women, according to a new national poll about exorcism."

In his great book, The Screwtape Letters, the late Christian apologist C.S. Lewis says: "There are two equal and opposite errors which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel and excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They [the devils] are equally pleased by both errors, and hail the materialist and the magician with the same delight."

Satan and his demons are real. Just as real as their final resting place - hell! (Revelation 20:10). Don't doubt it for a moment. When you hear a very educated college professor spewing out nonsense about evolution, you can almost see a black, vile creature whispering lies into his ears.

But if you don't believe in Satan - if you want proof - here is one way you can meet Satan 'face to face:' DON'T listen to the following sermon by 18th century pastor and theologian, Jonathan Edwards:

Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God
