Bible Reading for Wednesday, October 5, 2016

There are many different websites that offer reading plans to read the Bible in a year. Here is a really good one:  Read the KJV Bible in One Year. For today, why don't you read along with me Chapters 115-118 in the book of Psalms. (Note: The Psalms are not actually divided into 'chapters'. The Psalms were the hymnbook of the Jewish people 3000 years ago. But they still speak to us today!)

Special Verses:

"The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."- Psalm 188:22-24

Here are some hymns based on these verses:

This is the Day/ I Will Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving
The Glorious Gates of Righteousness
Jesus Is the Cornerstone/ Rock of Ages Medley

Note: If you have a reading disability that makes it difficult or impossible to read along with me this year, please consider going to Biblegateway.com and listening to the Bible. This is a great site with many resources, one of which is an audio version of the Bible Daily.
