Are You a Ninja?

No, not the Ninjas that carry swords and cover their face and practice martial arts. But are you a Ninja (No Income, Job or Assets)? This is a derogatory term used by bankers and financial people to describe poor people!

When I came across this term recently reading The Big Short (Video, Book), I was reminded by a cute little poem by Emily Dickenson (1830-1886):

I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you - Nobody - too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! They'd banish us - you know!

How dreary to be somebody!
How public - like a frog - 
To tell one's name - the livelong day -
To an admiring Bog!

Our Lord Jesus asks the most profound question:

"What is a man profited is he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? - Matthew 16:26 (Audio)
