The Real Reason Truman Dropped the Atom Bomb - lewrockwell.com
Excerpt from this article:
"General/President Dwight Eisenhower discusses this in his 1963 memoir, The White House Years: Mandate for Change,
1953-1956...'my belief
that Japan was already defeated and that dropping the bomb was
completely unnecessary..' (source)...''The Japanese were ready to surrender and it wasn’t necessary
to hit them with that awful thing… I hated to see our country be the
first to use such a weapon.” (source)...Another great example comes from General Douglas MacArthur, who sent a
40-page memorandum to President Roosevelt that clearly outlines five
different surrender overtures from high ranking Japanese officials. This
memo was also revealed on the front page of the Chicago Tribune and the Washington Times on August 19th, 1945."

Why Americans Believe That Bombing Hiroshima Was Necessary
Why Americans Believe That Bombing Hiroshima Was Necessary - lewrockwell..com
Excerpt from this article:
"August 6, 2015, is the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, a civilian city that had minimal military value...Of course, the reason that the United States wasn’t sanctioned like Germany was for the Jewish holocaust was that America was the victor and the occupier and thus it was in charge of making and enforcing the rules in the New World Order. The United States military ambushed the equally defenseless Nagasaki City three days later with the second atomic bomb to ever be used against a civilian population (that no longer had any military value to Japan)."

Hiroshima, Nagasaki, And The Great Historic Lie
Hiroshima, Nagasaki, And The Great Historic Lie - zengardner.com
Excerpt from this article:
"It is perceived wisdom throughout the Western world – particularly America – that the dropping of two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was “necessary” to end the war with Japan...Truman knew weeks before the Potsdam Conference, which began in July, 1945, that the Japanese were making overtures to surrender, the only condition being the retention of the Emperor. But Truman was determined to test the new bombs. In the words of General Douglas McArthur: ”The war might have ended weeks earlier, he said, if the United States had agreed, as it later did anyway, to the retention of the institution of the emperor.”...In reality, most of the military top brass were disgusted at the decision to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki and understood completely that it served no military purpose whatsoever."

World War II: The 'Good War?'
World War II: The 'Good War? 18 Reasons the Answer is No - lewrockwell.com
Excerpt from this article:
"I have commented previously that I believe (at least given my current understanding) the main purpose for U.S. entry into the war was two-fold: 1) to take the place of an increasingly ailing Britain as the primary tool for the elite to expand global control, and 2) to ensure a new, long term enemy can be made out of the Soviet Union and communism. I will add a third to this list – actually it is a subset of the first: to bring the productive populations of Germany and Japan under the control of the elite."

Unwelcome Truths - About the Bombing of Nagasaki
Unwelcome Truths - About the Bombing of Nagasaki - lewrockwell.com
Excerpt from this article:
Excerpt from this article:
"69 years ago an all-Christian bomber crew dropped “Fat Man”, a plutonium bomb, on Nagasaki, Japan, instantly annihilating tens of thousands of innocent civilians, a disproportionate number of them Japanese Christians, and permanently or mortally wounding uncountable numbers of others...the use of that monstrous weapon of mass destruction to destroy a mainly civilian city like Nagasaki was an international war crime and a crime against humanity as defined later by the Nuremberg Tribunal."

The War Crime Called Hiroshima
The War Crime Caled Hiroshima - lewrockwell.com
Excerpt from this article:
"With Vladimir Putin’s Russia putting boots on the ground in Crimea and the Obama administration responding with rhetoric reminiscent of Cold War posturing, the past few days provided chilling reminders of the dangerous and costly nuclear arms race that gripped the two superpowers for nearly half a century. How far the U.S. and Russia will go in rattling their still enormous nuclear arsenals this time remains to be seen."
