Mass Exodus From the Church: The Percentage of Young Adults With No Religious Affiliation Has Quadrupled Since 1986

Mass Exodus From the Church: The Percentage of Young Adults With No Religious Affiliation Has Quadrupled Since 1986 - theeconomiccollapseblog.com

Excerpt from this article:

"In 1991, only six percent of Americans identified their religious affiliations as 'none ' and that number had not moved much since the early 1970s. By the end of the 1990s, 14% of the public claimed no religious affiliation. The rate of religious change accelerated further during the late 2000s and early 2010s, reading 20% by 2012. Today, one-quarter (25%) of Americans claim no formal religious identity, making this group the single largest 'religious group' in the U.S."

This is very sad. It's also very predictable. In fact, the Bible predicted this would happen just prior to our Lord Jesus' return:

"...when the Son of man cometh, will he find faith on the earth?" - Luke 18:8b (Audio)

And

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." - 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4 (Audio)

The Bible also predicts that just prior to our Lord's return the Antichrist - possibly the devil incarnate - will appear and, well, why don't you read it for yourself?

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, to receive the mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred, three score and six." Revelation 13:16-18 (Audio)

and

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever. And they have no rest, day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." - Revelation 14:9-11 (Audio)
