“'It is way past time to end the outrage of so many women still earning less than men on the job,' she said in her speech. But that's not how her Foundation operates.The foundation’s highest paid executive is Frederick Post, director of 'sponsor and marketing,' who has built the foundation’s assets to $247 million. He received $484,000 in annual compensation. The highest paid woman is CEO Virginia Ehrlich. Her pay is only $201,000, less than half that of Post’s. The second-highest paid male is long-time Clinton associate Bruce Lindsay, who received $395,000 in annual compensation. All eight male foundation execs earn $200,000 or more. Only one woman earned $200,000, while Stephanie Streett, its executive director, received a paltry $169,000."

The goal of the bill -- the attainment of equal pay for equal work -- seems like a no-brainer, right? Women with the same job, and same qualifications, as men deserve to be paid the same. They do not deserve to be discriminated against in salary on the basis of gender. Seems obvious. And yet not a single Republican voted in favor of the Act, and many Americans now no longer know what to think."

"Female founders of these organizations paid themselves about 23% less than their male peers. In other words, women paid themselves less than men--even when the women had complete control over setting compensation. Surely, the women are not discriminating against themselves.  A recent Goldman Sachs survey of 10,000 small business owners found a similar phenomenon. Female business owners paid themselves, on average, just 80% as much as male owners."
