Text From Book Of Mark Found In Ancient Mast May Be Oldest Known Copy Of Gospel - christiannews.net
Excerpt from this article:
"Text from the book of Mark that was found inside of an ancient
Egyptian mummy mask may be the oldest copy of the gospel—even if just in
a portion—known to man. Through carbon dating and analyzation of the artifact, it is believed
that the document is from within the first century following the death
and resurrection of Christ. Heretofore, the oldest known copies of the
gospels on record are from the second century...'A fragment from before AD 80
would establish that the gospel of Mark had not only been written within
50 years of Jesus’ death and resurrection, but that it would have
already begun to circulate widely.'”

It's been said that science and the Bible don't agree. This is a good thing, because if they did we'd have to get a new Bible every 10 Year! I love it when archaeologist make a discovery that shows that the Bible is true. I'm still hoping they will discover Noah's Ark! But I put my faith in our Lord Jesus - and his Bible - and not what archaeologists dig up!
