Years ago Neil Diamond sang a heart-warming pro-immigration song called Coming to America. I think the message of this great song is, America is a nation of immigrants. America loves Immigrants. And America wants to see more immigrants call this their home. I don't think the message of this song is "Immigrants are coming whether America wants them or not."
But the 1994 Rwandan Genocide serves to remind us that immigrants may not be the only thing "Coming to America." All you have to do is watch the news and you know that Genocide may also be in our future.
