Everybody Talkin 'Bout Heaven Ain't Goin There!

There is a video titled Everybody Talkin 'Bout Heaven Ain't Goin There. This was brought home this past week when I came across a version of Mercy Me's song, I Can Only Imagine - sung by students of BYU Noteworthy (the Mormons)

How many enemies of our Lord Jesus take his name on their lips, and yet will one day hear those dreadful words, "I never knew you. Depart from me." (John 7:23)

There are many differences between Christian denominations, but  two things they all have in common are these: They all believe the Bible is the inspired infallible Word of God and they all believe our Lord Jesus is almighty God, the only hope for sinners on their way to an eternity hell.

If you think the Mormonism is just another Christian denomination, check out the following video:

Recommended sermon:

The Text for this sermon is Matthew 7:21-23 (Audio)

"Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? And I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me ye that work iniquity."
