Rubio on compromise: ‘Where are the jobs?’:
“Thousands of small businesses, not just the wealthy, will now be forced to decide how they’ll pay this new tax and, chances are, they’ll do it by firing employees, cutting back their hours and benefits, or postponing the new hire they were looking to make. And to make matters worse, it does nothing to bring our dangerous debt under control,” Rubio said. He said the taxes kill jobs and don’t address the nation’s debt problem – at $16 trillion plus now and surging each day that Obama is in office."

CBO: 'Fiscal Cliff' Deal Carries $4 Trillion Price Tag Over Next Decade
CBO: 'Fiscal cliff' deal carries $4 trillion price tag over next decade - The Hill's On The Money:
It's time again to look to Wikiquote for counsel:
"A democracy can never exist as a permanant form of government. It can only exist until the majority discover it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate who promises the most benefits, with the result the demacracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy that ensues, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy."
Unfortunately, America has already elected our 'Monarch' (See my post: Is Obama the Antichrist? I SayYes!)

George Will: Why We're Near the Cliff
George Will: Why we're near the cliff - Conservative News:
"If you have worked hard for five decades, made pots of money and now want to squander it all in Las Vegas on wine, women and baccarat, go ahead. If, however, you harbor the anti-social desire — stigmatized as such by America’s judgmental tax code — to bequeath your wealth to your children, this would be an excellent month to die. Absent a congressional fix before Jan. 1, the death tax, which is 35 percent on estates above $5 million, reverts to 55 percent on those above $1 million."

Amid tax hike, spending squabbles, Congress considers Elvis Presley Day
Amid tax hike, spending squabbles, Congress considers Elvis Presley Day - Conservative News:
I realize our congressmen and congresswomen are busy. So many things to do. And with the 'fiscal cliff' just around the corner, you wonder if any of them are getting 3 hours of sleep a night. And yet, still, they find time to consider naming a day after Elvis Presley.
If they have time for this, maybe they could take some time out of their busy lives and watch the 10 hour video:
They Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll, by Pastor Joseph Schimmel
