What is SOHLS? And what does it have to do with California. SOHLS, stands for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, which have been observed since 1983 "as a day to commemorate the sanctity of human life." To find out what this may have to do with California, read the following two articles:

While physical drought is a terrible thing, there is a drought that is much worse. The Bible says:

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, or of thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it." - Amos 8:11,12

But there is a God behind these "natural causes,' a God who is terribly angry with America, and with California in particular. We saw just a glimpse of his power in the Philippians recently. No, I'm not saying we can put God into a box and draw a connection between each disaster and the place affected by that disaster. But if a devastating earthquake hits California, well ...
