Certainly there are no good guys in this conflict and support for either side is a losing proposition. The outcome of the Syrian civil war will surely be detrimental to the majority of Syrians, no matter who wins."

If I trusted our President - which I don't - I would be in favor of using our military to defend any of our allies anywhere in the world. And that includes the nation of Israel, who I see as America's strongest ally in the Middle East.

I see Obama's plans for Syria in the same light that I see George W. Bush's plans for Iraq and Afganistan. Obama and Bush (Jr. and Sr.) are not about defending America's interest or protecting America's allies. They are about putting the last pieces together in what will be a world government under the United Nations.
