Women Are From Venus, and Men Are From Whatever Planet Watches Porn All the Time
I'm not a big fan of Amy Dickenson, but I do read her column from time to time (mostly because it is right under Dilbert comic strip, and I have to read that every day!). Amy Dickenson is an advice columist. Much of her advice is very good and helpful, although some of it's not. But her column that appeared in yesterday's paper was excellent (See: Ask Amy: Teen Son's Porn Habit Worries Mom).
The Bible says:

Sex Therapists Call for Legalization of 'Virtual' Child Porn
Sex therapists call for legalization of 'virtual' child porn to 'relieve pedophiles' urges'. This is not surprising coming from Amsterdam, the city that has legalized sex in public (see Amsterdam Decriminalizes Public Sex in Famous Park). Although, in Amsterdam's defense, it should be noted that they have agreed to outlaw sex with animals (see Congrats: The Netherlands Enters the 18th Century).
Pedophiles are not born that way. They are made. And they are often made that way by being victimized at a young age by other pedophiles Making 'virtual child porn' legal, is not going to satisfy anyone's urges (except the godless people making a profit from it!). It will be like pouring gasoline on a raging fire.
According to a survey of college students at various institutions, (reported on Web Info on Sexual Assault and Abuse): "35% anonymously admitted that, under certain circumstances, they would commit rape if they believed they could get away with it." I have heard of other studies involving college students that suggest that the number is much higher if it involved raping an underage teenager.
Making 'virtual child porn' legal would create more pedophiles. People - like the students who responded to the survey above - who admit they would commit rape if they knew they could get away with it - would seek out this 'virtual porn,' and eventually when they got bored with it, they would seek out the real thing. As modern day Puritan, Rev. Cornelis Pronk has said, "Sin will always progress. It is never at a standstill."
Pornography should be at the top of every feminist's hate list. Regardless what their views are on other issues, there should be consensus on this: pornography degrades women. And child porn - real or virtual - should at the top of everyone's hate list. It should be punished by very long prison terms (for virtual child porn) and the death penalty if a real child is victimized.

That's their opinion. Puritan Ralph Venning (1621 - 1643) had a different opinion:
"They say that thoughts are free. They are indeed free in regard to man who cannot judge us for them. But God can and will!"
And as our Lord Jesus has said:
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still. And he that is filthy, let him be filthy still. And he that is righteous, let him be righteous still. And he that is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be" - Revelation 22:11,12
