Bible Reading for Tuesday, November 29, 2016

There are many different websites that offer reading plans to read the Bible in a year. Here is a really good one:  Read the KJV Bible in One Year. For today, why don't you read along with me Chapter 1-4 in the book of Ezekiel.

Special verses and sermons:

Here is a sermon on Ezekiel 12:4-28:

The Mysterious Occupants of God's Heaven, by Dr. Ian R. K. Paisley

"Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel." - Ezekiel 1:15,16

Here is a sermon on Ezekiel 1:15,16:

Ezekiel's Wheels, by Rev. Ian Brown

Here is a sermon on Ezekiel 2:

Be An Ezekiel Office Bearer, by Rev. Henk Bergsma

Here is a sermon on Ezekiel 2:1-3:15

The Lamb Who is Lord of All, by Pastor Joel Overduin

"But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted." - Ezekiel 3:7

Here is a short meditation on this verse:

Spurgeon's Morning and Evening, by Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-1892)

"Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul." - Ezekiel 3:17-19

Here are 2 sermons on Ezekiel 3:17-19:

Pastors With Bloody Hands, by E. A. Johnston
Pygmy Preachers and Pew Potatoes, by E. A. Johnston

Here is a sermon on Ezekiel 4:

A Demanding Beginning to a Difficult Ministry, by Dr. Steve J. Lawson

"And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight." - Ezekiel 4:12

Here is a sermon on Ezekiel 4:12:

Israel Adding to Themselves the Vengeance of God, by John Calvin (1509-1564)

Note: If you have a reading disability that makes it difficult or impossible to read along with me this year, please consider going to Biblegateway.com and listening to the Bible. This is a great site with many resources, one of which is an audio version of the Bible Daily.
