The Council on Foreign Relations: The Key to Understanding What is Going on in America Today

Former Vice President Dick Cheney is also a former Director of the Council on Foreign Relations. The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is key to understanding what is going on in the world, and especially America right now. And to find out more about the CFR you don't want to look just to their official website, but rather to a small book that was published in 1971 (and is now available for free online) titled: None Dare Call It Conspiracy.

In today's edition of Canada Free Press, Doug Hagmann reports the following about the CFR:

"It is interesting to note that earlier that same year [1974], an article appeared in the Council on Foreign Relations quarterly publication Foreign Affairs titled 'The Hard Road to World Order.' It was written by Richard N. Gardner who wrote the following:

'In short, the 'house of world order' will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great “booming, buzzing confusion,” to use William James’ famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault. Of course, for political as well as administrative reasons, some of these specialized arrangements should be brought into an appropriate relationship with the central institutions of the U.N. system, but the main thing is that the essential functions be performed.'”
