Bible Reading for Tuesday, March 22, 2016

There are many different websites that offer reading plans to read the Bible in a year. Here is a really good one:  Read the KJV Bible in One Year. For today, why don't you read along with me chapters 1-5 in the book of James.

Special verses:

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." - Jamesd 1:5,6

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." - James 1:12

"22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." - James 1:22

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." - James 1:27

"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." - James 2:10

"Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." - James 2:19

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." - James 2:26

"...know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." - James 4:4

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." - James 4:7,8

"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." - James 4:10

"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." - James 4:17

"Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you." - James 5:1

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." - James 5:16
Note: If you have a reading disability that makes it difficult or impossible to read along with me this year, please consider going to Biblegateway.com and listening to the Bible. This is a great site with many resources, one of which is an audio version of the Bible Daily.Recommended readi
