As Tech Giant Calls For More Foreign Workers, Senate Hears Of Displaced Americans

As Tech Giant Calls For More Foreign Workers, Senate Hears Of Displaced Americans - humanevents.com

Excerpt from this article::

"Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, believes passionately that the United States needs more skilled foreign workers. He has long advocated increasing the number of so-called H-1B visas, which allow those workers to come to the U.S. for several years and, in many cases, work for lower wages than current employees. Schmidt is frustrated that Congress hasn’t done as he and other tech moguls want."

The Great Betrayal: How American Sovereignty and Social Justice Are Being Sacrificed to the Gods of the Global Economy

Here is an excerpt from this great book:

"No site better captures yesterday's America than Detroit, forge and furnace of America's democracy. Detroit is the burned out case of American cities. The Empire of the Sun has its revenge. Japanese imports helped kill the city that built the weapons that destroyed the empire. Now grandsons of the soldiers of the imperial army work at high paying manufacturing jobs once held by the fathers of ten-dollar-an-hour retail clerks in Macomb County.

"But why blame the Japanese? We did it to ourselves. We Americans created a post war trading regime, in which, over 25 years, Japan bought 400,000 American cars while selling us 40 million Japanese cars, a ratio of 100:1. One president after another sat still while a third of America's greatest industry was shipped off to Japan...

"Americans no longer make their own cameras, shoes, radios, TVs, toys. A fifth of our steal, a third of our autos, half our machine tools, and two-thirds of our textiles are made abroad...

"The decline and fall of Middle America was neither preordained nor inevitable. It was engineered in Washington D.C. Wages have fallen and the standard of living of American families has stagnated because of a basic law: the law of supply and demand. The price of labor has been dropping because the supply of labor has exploded...

"Having declared free trade and open borders to be American policy, why are we surprised that corporate executives padlocked their plants in the Rust Belt and moved over seas?  Why keep your plants here when you can manufacture at a fraction of the cost abroad, ship your goods back, and pocket the windfall profits that come from firing $20 an hour Americans and hiring fifty-cent-an-hour Asians? A pair of Nikes that sells for $150 in the United States costs $5 in wages to make in Indonesia. Any wonder that Nike president Philip Knight is the fifth richest man in America, with $5.2 billion, while his Indonesian workers make 31 cents an hour?" (Emphasis mine)

Google Chairman On Obsolete Man: The Internet Will Soon Be Part Of You

Google Chairman On Obsolete Man: 'The Internet Will Soon Be Part Of You' - activistpost.com

Excerpt from this article:

"The Internet will be so ubiquitous — become such a part of our everyday existence and even our physical being — that it will cease to exist to us as a separate entity and simply melt into us.
We will merge. We will be the Internet and the Internet will be us."

---------------------------------------------------

Just as our current President wants to take control of the Internet, a future 'Antichrist' may well seize the reigns of the Internet to make sure nobody can buy or sell anything without his approval. The Apostle John wrote about this almost 2000 years ago:

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, to receive the mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred, three score and six." - Revelation 13:16-18

and

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a load voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever. And they have no rest, day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." - Revelation 14:9-11

Google's Eric Schmidt Greases Skids For Internet Brain Chip

Google's Eric Schmidt Greases Skids For Internet Brain Chip - infowars.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Asked how he saw the Internet developing in future years, Schmidt responded. 'I will answer very simply that the Internet will disappear.' 'Google believes it can ultimately fulfil people’s data needs by sending results directly to microchips implanted into its user’s brains,' states the London Independent report which features the interview with Huffman. So when Eric Schmidt talks of the Internet 'disappearing,' he really means that it will disappear inside your head."
---------------------------------------------------------

If the Apostle John were alive today, I wonder what he would say about this! Two thousand years ago he wrote:
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."  - Revelation 13:16-18

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." - Revelation 14:9-11

The Laughable Innocence of Facebook and Google (and Us!)

The laughable innocence of Facebook and Google (and us) | Technically Incorrect - CNET News:

"I hear wailing. I think it's coming from all those who believed, in some sweet corner of their minds, that they were changing the world. You know, for the better. The generation that believed technology was heralding a new togetherness, a new openness, a new freedom, a new transparency is suddenly confronted by the idea that its idols might be something terrible -- yes, pragmatic.Suddenly, they hear that Facebook, Google, Yahoo, and all the other immature brand names might have been offering information to the government when the government asked nicely -- which hardly seems something new, given the already recorded instances of government issuing subpoenas in order to get information...Yet the wailers bemoan: 'How could they do this?' 'They've betrayed us!' they shriek. 'It's a surveillance state. They've destroyed our privacy.'"
