Science Confirms Creation, [pdcast], by Jason Lisle, Ph,D.
"Dr. Lilse leads the Institute for Creation Research's team of scientists who continue to investigate and demonstrate the evidence for Creation. Dr. Lisle graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio Wesleyan University, and he double majored in Physics and astronomy. So when they talk about something's not too difficult for rocket scientists, this is what they're talking about...He was instrumental in developing the Planetarium at the Creation Museum in Kentucky..."
This is a great podcast. I've listened to it several times.

The American Government Is Scared To Death Of Dr. Dino (a.k.a. Kent Hovind)
As Pastor Faces Lifetime In Prison, Supporters Argue Persecution - thenewamerican.com
Excerpt from this article:
"Pastor Kent Hovind, a powerful advocate of biblical creationism who has already served almost 100 months in federal prison as part of what his supporters say amounts to a ruthless government campaign of religious persecution, is now potentially facing up to 100 years behind bars...a growing grassroots campaign across America is demanding that he be set him free — and that those responsible for allegedly railroading him be held accountable, including potentially the judge, who has developed a reputation among those following the case as having a strong anti-Christian bias."

Ken Ham Wins Ham/Nye Debate - Hands Down!
I haven't had a chance to watch this debate yet - hopefully I will by this weekend. But I already can say that Ken Ham won. Ken Ham may not have convinced Bill Nye - or anyone else - that God exists and that evolution is a fairy tale. But what he did do was get the gospel broadcasts to millions of people.
It is good to be able to defend creationism to a non-believing world. But it is a mistake to think that you can 'argue someone into becoming a Christian.' And regardless of who 'scored the most points' in this debate, the gospel was heard by people who would not have otherwise heard it. The apostle Paul would pat Ken Ham on the back, and say (my paraphrase of Philippians 1:12): "Brother, the things which happened to you in this debate have fallen out for the furtherance of the gospel!"
The Bible Says:
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
And one result of this debate is that I have added Ken Ham's Ministry (Answers In Genesis) to my list of organizations I ask my readers to donate to!
Although I would recommend any of Ken Ham's material to my readers, I would especially like to recommend the following:

Hawking's New Theory: 'There Are No Black Holes'
Hawking's New Theory: 'There Are No Black Holes' - newser.com
Excerpt from this article:
"Stephen Hawking helped develop current theories on black holes—but now, he's saying there aren't any."
---------------------------------------
My heart goes out to Dr. Steven Hawking for 2 reasons. 1.) Because he's a quadriplegic, and 2.) Unless he repents and trusts in our Lord Jesus Christ alone for his salvation, he is never going to know the truth about Black Holes.
No one can know what it is like to be a quadriplegic - except another quadriplegic. But if there is one person who can come close to understanding what it is like to be a quadriplegic it is his or her caregiver. I worked in healthcare for 9 years (3 years in a long term care facility, aka, nursing home, followed by 6 years in an acute care hospital). When I was working at a public hospital I had a "side job" as a primary caregiver for a C-5/6 quadriplegic. I did this for about 2 years, and then eventually handed off that responsibility to another caregiver so I could take on another "side job" doing agency work.
And so I can truly say I have empathy for Dr. Hawking. But not just because he is paralyzed. I have empathy for him because if he dies without Christ he will be facing an eternity that will be much more horrible than what he has experienced here on earth.
But my heart goes out to Dr. Hawking for a second reason. I'm not a smart person. Or at least not in the sense that Dr. Hawking is. I dropped out of high school in the 11th grade. I took some college classes but never got a degree. But like Dr. Hawking, I have been blessed (and sometimes 'cursed!') with an incredibly curious mind. One of the reasons I enjoy blogging so much is it gives me an excuse to surf the Web looking for interesting stuff to write about!
But unlike Dr. Hawking, I fully expect to understand all the mysteries of the universe one day. Probably not the present universe, but the one that will come after it. The Bible says:
"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are in shall be burned up." - 2 Peter 3:10
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new." - Revelation 21:4,5
