If Kent Hovind were held to the same standard that Bill and Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama are held to, he never would have seen the inside of a jail, much less a prison!
If
it were in my power to do so, I would order the state to release Kent
Hovind today, and then ask that he serve as an 'apprentice' under Ken Ham for one year before resuming his fight against those who teach the nonsense of evolution.

'In countries that stone people to death for adultery and imprison people for adultery, this is the kind of thing you would think someone for women’s rights would be standing up against, instead of accepting thinly veiled bribes,' the senator added."

Like Father Like Son: Pastor Kevin Swanson Interviews Dr. Dino's Son, Eric Hovind!
Here is a great podcast by Pastor Kevin Swanson. Pastor Swanson is interviewing Eric Hovind, son of one of my all time heroes of the faith, Kent Hovind:

In 2007 Kent Hovind was convicted of "failing to collect and pay withholding tax and obstructing tax laws", and was sentenced to 10 years in prison (see: Government Persecuting Jailed Creation Evangelist). The devil had good reason to try to silence Kent Hovind.In fact, I think Charles Spurgeon's word's about Martin Luther could be applied to Kent Hovind:
"Satan must have thought much of Martin Luther. 'I could ride the world over,' he says,' if it wasn't for that monk. He stands in my way. That strong headed man hates and mauls my first born son, the pope. If I could get rid of him, I wouldn't mind though 50,000 smaller saints stood in my way." (From Spurgeon's sermon Satan Considering the Saints)
But our Lord Jesus has a way to frustrate the devil's work, and now Kent Hovind's son has carried on his father's work!

I like Dr. Hovind, although I've never met him. I have watched a lot of his videos, though, and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Does Science Refute God? Of Course Not! Part 2
"I am not trying to get evolution out of the schools. I'm not trying to get creation into the schools. I just want the lies out of the textbooks." - Kent Hovind Ph.d.
Yes, I know Dr. Hovind is in prison. Maybe if he took seriously Jesus' words, render unto Obama, I mean Caesar, that which is Caesars," he would still be roaming the globe causing problems for God-hating atheists.
But in spite of his legal problems (which I hope will come to an end soon!), he has some really good things to say on the creation/evolution debate. Check out his podcast:
