Pastor: Jesus was Wrong About Marraige - Breitbart
Excerpt:
"If Jesus were alive today, he would be more inclined to say, 'You know, I didn't know it all.'" - Rev. Oliver White
No, "Rev." Oliver White white is mistaken on two counts:
First, our Lord Jesus is alive today. He has been alive ever since he rose from the dead 2000 years ago.
Second, Jesus would say the same thing today that he said in the Sermon on the Mount:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled." - Matthew 5:17,18
One of our Lord Jesus faithful servants, Pastor Charles Haddon Spurgeon, who although he died in 1892, is alive today with his Lord in heaven, would say to "Rev." Oliver White:
“It were better for me that I had never been born than that I preach to these people carelessly, or keep back any part of my Master's truth. Better to have been a devil than a preacher playing fast and loose with God's Word, and by such means working out the ruin of the souls of men...It will be the height of my ambition to be clear of the blood of all men. If, like George Fox, I can say in dying, 'I am clear, I am clear,' that were almost all the heaven I could wish for.”
