Ann Coulter: GOP Plan to Wreck Country, Lose Voters

Ann Coulter: GOP Plan to Wreck Country, Lose Voters - humanevents.com

Excerpt from this article:

As House Republicans prepare to sell out the country on immigration this week, Phyllis Schlafly has produced a stunning report on how immigration is changing the country. The report is still embargoed, but someone slipped me a copy, and it’s too important to wait.  Leave aside the harm cheap labor being dumped on the country does to the millions of unemployed Americans. What does it mean for the Republican Party?"

10 Facts About the Growing Unemployment Crisis In America that Will Blow Your Mind!

10 Facts About the Growing Unemployment Crisis In America that Will Blow Your Mind! - theeconomiccollapseblog.com

Excerpt from this article:

"Shouldn't [politicians] be working night and day to solve this crisis? After all, Barack Obama once made the following promise to the American people...'But I want you all to know, I will not rest until anybody who's looking for a job can find one -- and I'm not talking about just any job, but good jobs that give every American decent wages and decent benefits and a fair shot at the American Dream.' Unfortunately, things have not improved since Obama made that promise, but he has found the time to play 150 rounds of golf since he has been president."

Obama to Push Immigration Reform, 'Day After' Shutdown, Debt Ceiling Resolved

Obama to Push Immigration Reform, 'Day After' Shutdown, Debt Ceiling Resolved - breitbart.com:

"President Barack Obama has vowed that he will pressure Congress to take up comprehensive immigration reform 'the day after' the government shutdown and the debt ceiling are resolved. 'Once that’s done, you know, the day after I’m going to be pushing to say, call a vote on immigration reform,' Obama told Univision’s Los Angeles affiliate Tuesday. 'I’m going to do so because I think it’s really important for the country.'”

Business Pushes Immigration Reform Even as it Lays off American Workers

Business pushes immigration reform even as it lays off American workers | WashingtonExaminer.com:

"This week, the pharmaceutical giant Merck announced it will cut 8,500 jobs in an effort to remain competitive in a rapidly changing drug industry. Earlier this year, Merck announced plans to cut 7,500 jobs, bringing the total of workers let go to 16,000. In all, Merck intends to lay off one out of every five of its employees. At the same time, top Merck officials are urging Congress to loosen the nation's immigration laws to allow more foreign workers into the United States."

Companies Lay Off Thousands, Then Demand Immigration Reform for New Labor

Companies lay off thousands, then demand immigration reform for new labor | WashingtonExaminer.com:

"On Tuesday, the chief human resources officers of more than 100 large corporations sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi urging quick passage of a comprehensive immigration reform bill. The officials represent companies with a vast array of business interests: General Electric, The Walt Disney Company, Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, McDonald's Corporation, The Wendy's Company, Coca-Cola, The Cheesecake Factory, Johnson & Johnson, Verizon Communications, Hewlett-Packard, General Mills, and many more. All want to see increases in immigration levels for low-skill as well as high-skill workers, in addition to a path to citizenship for the millions of immigrants currently in the U.S. illegally."

It's all about the money, isn't it?

The Great Betrayal: How American Sovereignty and Social Justice Are Being Sacrificed to the Gods of the Global Economy, by Patrick Buchanan

Here is an excerpt from this great book:

"No site better captures yesterday's America than Detroit, forge and furnace of America's democracy. Detroit is the burned out case of American cities. The Empire of the Sun has its revenge. Japanese imports helped kill the city that built the weapons that destroyed the empire. Now grandsons of the soldiers of the imperial army work at high paying manufacturing jobs once held by the fathers of ten-dollar-an-hour retail clerks in Macomb County.
"But why blame the Japanese? We did it to ourselves. We Americans created a post war trading regime, in which, over 25 years, Japan bought 400,000 American cars while selling us 40 million Japanese cars, a ratio of 100:1. One president after another sat still while a third of America's greatest industry was shipped off to Japan...
"Americans no longer make their own cameras, shoes, radios, TVs, toys. A fifth of our steal, a third of our autos, half our machine tools, and two-thirds of our textiles are made abroad...
"The decline and fall of Middle America was neither preordained nor inevitable. It was engineered in Washington D.C. Wages have fallen and the standard of living of American families has stagnated because of a basic law: the law of supply and demand. The price of labor has been dropping because the supply of labor has exploded...
"Having declared free trade and open borders to be American policy, why are we surprised that corporate executives padlocked their plants in the Rust Belt and moved over seas?  Why keep your plants here when you can manufacture at a fraction of the cost abroad, ship your goods back, and pocket the windfall profits that come from firing $20 an hour Americans and hiring fifty-cent-an-hour Asians? A pair of Nikes that sells for $150 in the United States costs $5 in wages to make in Indonesia. Any wonder that Nike president Philip Knight is the fifth richest man in America, with $5.2 billion, while his Indonesian workers make 31 cents an hour?" (Emphasis mine)

Inside Boehner's Strategy to Slow Walk Immigration to the Finish Line

Inside Boehner's Strategy to Slow Walk Immigration to the Finish Line - NationalJournal.com:

"House Republicans head home for the August break having done little to pass immigration reform, falling well short of Speaker John Boehner’s goal to vote on legislation before next week’s monthlong recess begins. But far from a failure of leadership, top House Republicans are casting the inaction as a tactical play designed to boost reform’s chances."

How Immigration Reform Takes from the Poor

How Immigration Reform Takes from the Poor | National Review Online:

"One of the selling points of immigration reform is that it will boost the economy and raise the U.S.’s GDP. But opponents counter that there will be economic losers in this process, and those hurt by higher immigration may be low-skilled workers who already are having a hard time economically...an income gain to one person doesn’t necessarily offset an equal dollar loss to another. Simply put, it hurts more to lose a dollar if you’re poor than it helps to gain a dollar if you’re rich..."

‘Allegiance to the United States Constitution Is Not An Option’

‘Allegiance to the United States Constitution is not an option’:

"The Conservative Hispanics of America say they are proud Americans who put loyalty to the U.S. first, not in second place behind allegiance to a culture or ancestral home. 'Conservative Hispanics of America have rallied together to remind all politicians that ignoring the ‘Oath of Affirmation’ will bear serious consequences,' said Al Garza, who along with Andy Ramirez, is a founder. Allegiance to the United States Constitution is not an option, it is their sworn obligation,' he said. "

I am opposed to the Immigration Bill being shoved through Congress right now. I am not opposed to Mexicans (legal or illegal). I have worked many years on dairy farms - and many of the men and women I worked with were Mexicans - and not all of them were in the country legally.

Most of the Mexicans I worked with were decent hard working people - many sent large portions of their paychecks to their families down in Mexico. In many ways, these "Illegal Aliens" were more American than the politicians currently pushing the Immigration bill through congress.

I would like to see an America that was filled with these kind of people (as opposed to the rich liberals like Barack Obama and George W. Bush) who have their own Special Interest Groups (and America not being one of them!)

68 Senators Vote to Create Incentive for Employers to Hire Amnestied Immigrants Over U.S. Citizens | The Weekly Standard:

Limbaugh: Democrats Push Amnesty to Replace 52 Million Aborted Since 1973 | CNS News:

"Democrats are pushing  hard for some form of amnesty in the immigration bill for the estimated 11 million illegal aliens in the United States partly because they are looking to replace the 52 million Americans who never entered the workforce  -- and never paid federal taxes -- but instead were victims of abortion since Roe v. Wade, said conservative Rush Limbaugh on his talk-radio program."

Why Amnesty is Not Compassionate

Why amnesty is not compassionate:

"Is Sen. Marco Rubio correct when he says providing a blanket amnesty for illegal aliens is the 'compassionate' response for Americans? Is he correct when he says it’s the biblical response to America’s problem with immigration laws being broken? While Rubio is right about the word 'compassionate' being found frequently in the Bible, it is not found in the context of excusing lawbreaking, non-enforcement of duly enacted laws or borderless nations. Quite the contrary."

"Yesterday, Ann Coulter wrote a column saying that if the GOP pushes the amnesty bill, it deserves to die. But, perhaps, she deserves to die along with it, since she repeatedly pimped us on charlatan Marco Rubio . . . just like she pimped us on Mitt Romney and Chris ChrispieCreme, the HAMAS-lovin’ Governor of New Jersey and Halal Donutistan."

"At what point does it become clear that we no longer inhabit America? When we “Press 2,” not “1,” for English? "Here we go again. Today, amid ongoing scandal eruptions in D.C., the Mother of all Scams and Shams — another mass illegal alien amnesty masquerading as border security — will come before the Senate for a vote. The open-borders lobby and their willing tools — looking at you, Rubio — are counting on you to be distracted, apathetic, and unorganized."

Buchanan: What is This 'Bringing People Out of the Shadows' is Nonsense?

Buchanan: 'Bringing people out of the shadows' is nonsense | The Daily Caller:

"The “Suicide of a Superpower” author said Rubio should point out that the federal government has failed to protect the border “against an invasion” of 'illegal people.' 'You know what Marco Rubio should say to them?' Buchanan said. 'Look, we don’t believe in amnesty. We believe it’s rewarding illegal law breaking. It’s rewarding people who broke into our country and broke in line and who are here illegally. As for securing the border, that is not an option for you folks. That’s is an obligation, that is a duty of the president of the United States — to defend America’s borders against an invasion. And if you yourselves say there are 12 million illegal people here, that’s an invasion.’'"

Perhaps congress could work out a real compromise on immigration: Send those who are in America illegally back home, and offer a 'path to citizenship' to an equal number of their 'law abiding countrymen (and women) who would like to 'legally' immigrate to America!

I like Mexicans. I've worked side by side with them on farms for many years. But I can see past the phony amnesty the president is proposing to the real agenda - doing away with the Southern Border of the United States in what may be the final stage toward a one world government.

Amnesty Bill Swiftly Gains Senate Approval While America Focuses On “Scandals” - Infowars.com

"In what has to be the quickest, quietest approval process in history, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act got the go-ahead yesterday from the Senate Judiciary Committee. The bill now moves to the Senate floor where it may pass again, just as quickly, if Americans remain distracted by the current “scandals” inside the White House."

Immigration Bill Creates Giant Database On All Americans

Immigration Bill Creates Giant Database On All Americans:

"The days of Big Brother may be here already, thanks to a provision in the immigration reform measure being considered in the Senate, Wired magazine reports. Within the 800 pages of the legislation under consideration is a passage outlining the creation of a federal database so large it would contain photographs, names, ages, and Social Security numbers of every American who has a driver’s license or state-issued photo ID. This database is referred to as the 'photo-tool.'"
